Concrete Lifting & Levelling
Dealing with sunken or uneven concrete can be a hassle, but polyurethane concrete lifting and levelling is a fantastic, cost-effective alternative to a concrete removal and replacement. It is also a much less invasive and disruptive option compared to traditional mudjacking.
At Slab-Jack Kings, our dedicated technicians are trained experts who bring over 10 years of hands-on experience to carefully lift and restore your sunken concrete. We tailor our specialized geotechnical polyurethane concrete raising systems to meet the exact needs of each unique project. We proudly serve most communities across Manitoba & Northwestern Ontario. Please take a moment to check out our Service Areas page to confirm if we can help bring your concrete back to life.
Our Polyurethane Concrete Lifting Process
1. Concrete Lifting Site Setup & Preparation
On the day of your concrete leveling project, our crew will prepare safe access to your settled concrete. To minimize disruption to your property, our self-contained polyjacking trailer remains parked in one spot, and we simply pull out the exact amount of hose needed to reach the uneven driveway, patio, or sidewalk repair area.
2. Drilling Minimal-Impact Injection Holes
We carefully drill small, 5/8″ injection holes (about the size of a dime) directly into your sunken concrete slab. These precise locations are strategically mapped out to allow the polyurethane foam to travel beneath the slab, targeting the hidden voids causing your concrete to settle in the first place.
3. Precision Concrete Slab Lifting Techniques
To prevent your concrete from fracturing, our expert technicians use a controlled “bunny hopping” method. By moving back and forth between the injection ports, we raise the uneven concrete slab in gentle stages rather than forcing it up all at once. This guarantees comprehensive void filling in the adjacent spaces to ensure proper, long-lasting support.
4. Polyurethane Foam Expansion & Void Filling
Our exclusive polyurethane concrete lifting foam reacts in about 12-15 seconds after injection. As the high-density foam expands under your concrete, it travels up to six feet in diameter to compress weak soils, fill subterranean voids, and lift the slab back into its original position. This creates a highly stable, waterproof new base for your concrete.
5. Post-Lift Patching & Restoration
Once the concrete lifting and levelling is complete and the slab is properly supported, we seal the small injection holes with a fibre-reinforced patching material designed to blend with your existing concrete as it naturally ages. Provided the weather is dry, we can also repair other existing surface cracks or gaps at this time.
6. Fast Curing Time & Project Completion
An average sidewalk or driveway levelling repair takes just 1 to 2 hours, while larger spaces like sinking garage floors or commercial slabs may take most of our workday. Unlike traditional mudjacking that takes days to dry, polyurethane foam cures incredibly quickly. Your newly lifted concrete reaches 90% of its strength in just 15 minutes, meaning it is ready for normal use and heavy vehicular traffic almost immediately after we finish patching!

Our exclusive, high-density polyurethane foam is the ultimate solution for lifting and levelling sunken slab-on-grade concrete. Whether you need to fix an uneven residential driveway or require heavy-duty industrial concrete raising, our expanding technology delivers a durable, waterproof repair.
