Wheelchair Access Ramp Lift at Bruce D. Campbell Farm & Food Discovery Centre: before & after!
In this video, we show the before and after of commercial polyurethane concrete lifting, levelling void filling & stabilization of the front entrance wheelchair access ramp at Bruce D. Campbell Farm & Food Discovery Centre. This job was completed for The University of Manitoba in May of 2019.
Raise vs Replace!
This front wheel chair access ramp had settled by approximately 2.5 inches and the client was worried about getting the wheel chair access ramp restored as quickly and efficiently as possible!
Slab-Jack Kings raised, levelled and stabilized the area so that the asphalt patching could be removed and so that the sidewalk would now be flush with the entrance slab. The wheelchair access ramp has been officially restored! In and out in 1 hour before doors were even opened to the public. Another job well-done!
This job was completed from start to finish in less than 1 hour total, which is why polyurethane concrete lifting is always a better option as opposed to removal and replacement. Especially when it comes to public spaces and commercial buildings.
