Concrete Lifting, Levelling, Void Filling & Stabilization, Garage & Shop Floor Lifts, Residential Projects
Concrete Garage Floor Lift: Before & After!
Before:
Here is a large garage pad with in-floor heat that had settled by roughly 3 inches along an ICF foundation.
The slab was not doweled into the foundation, which was causing the slab to start dropping only days after it was poured.
After:
Slab-Jack Kings injected over 900 pounds of concrete lifting foam to raise, level and stabilize the garage floor back up to its original pour height and prevent it from any further settlement. This job was completed by Slab-Jack Kings in June of 2016!

Agricultural Projects, Concrete Lifting, Levelling, Void Filling & Stabilization, Grain Bin Floors
Do you have a tipping or leaning fertilizer bin pad, tank, hopper bin, or a grain bin that is tilting and causing you more problems than this years’ farming season? This liquid fertilizer bin pad was originally poured on top soil with VERY little compaction. It was definitely causing more problems before we arrived!
Using very long drill bits, we glued the aggregates beneath the bin pad together with a void filling, soil stabilization foam in order to decrease settlement issues that may become a much bigger problem in the future.
Back to Work!
Slab-Jack Kings void filled and stabilized this agricultural slab so that this farmer could get back to doing what he does best! Another job well-done by our lifting crew and another happy customer. This job was completed in June of 2016!

Tunnel Concrete Lifting: Before and After at The University of Manitoba!
One of the big, successful lifts accomplished for the University of Manitoba in May of 2019!
Before: Electrical & Mechanical Rooms and Walkway Tunnels
Located beneath the Elizabeth Dafoe Library in the underground walkway tunnels, there was a lot of critical mechanical and electrical services for the building.
These critical services were all present within an area of 2500 square feet, and they have had to be adjusted annually due to settlement.
Give us a call for any commercial concrete lifting, soil stabilization, deep injection, void filling, and grout compaction projects! We are certified, licensed, trusted and insured to use the world’s most advanced equipment, and superior geotechnical polyurethane concrete lifting foams that are suited for any project specifications.
During:
You can see here how many injection points were needed in order to get everything back up!
After: Back to School!
Slab-Jack Kings raised, levelled and stabilized the slabs back up as much as we could without hurting the mechanical or electrical. We then stabilized the surrounding areas to prevent future settlement. The University of Manitoba was in charge of any masonry work that they found necessary post-lift.
Another job well-done by our lifting crew and quite a few more happier customers. The tunnels were ready for use immediately upon job completion!

Commercial Projects, Concrete Lifting, Levelling, Void Filling & Stabilization, Interior Commercial Floors
Commercial Kitchen Floor Lift: Before & After!
This commercial kitchen into the dining room area of the slab had settled anywhere from 4.5-7 inches at its lowest point throughout the majority of the kitchen. This job was completed by Slab-Jack Kings in January of 2019. Around this time of year, heaters are generally needed in order to complete these types of lifts. This is in order for our equipment to remain safe to use and for our product to stay at its optimal temperature.
What needed to be done prior to this commercial kitchen floor lift:
We used the tele-post area as a zero point of reference and determined that it gradually dipped from the back entrance towards a ponding point in the middle of the kitchen floor. The client was responsible to remove any vinyl flooring from the dining room area and 6 feet past it to ensure that the injection holes could be drilled where necessary.
The interior party wall between the kitchen and the dining room needed to be disconnected and removed prior to the job as well. While water lines, plumbing drain stacks and gas lines needed to be disconnected for proper injection and in order for any lift to take place. Kitchen appliances and counter tops needed to be temporarily moved in order to perform the lift properly.
Back in Business
Slab-Jack Kings raised, levelled and stabilized the slab back up to a proper level working height and brand new floor drains were installed by the client post-lift. Another job well-done by our lifting crew and another happy customer!

Commercial Projects, Concrete Lifting, Levelling, Void Filling & Stabilization, Interior Commercial Floors, Polyurethane Under-Slab Insulation
These were our first two freezer floor under-slab insulation projects completed for this specific client. Walk-in coolers or freezers are to be situated on top of this slab upon our completion of work to avoid a conventional means of insulating the floor that would be inconvenient and costly. This was due to the fact that the client wanted a fork-lift to be able to travel from within the coolers to the outside adjacent surfaces of the slab, without transitioning to a different level of elevation.
People often ask us; “How far can foam travel under a slab?” Here is the same warehouse slab being injected with a hydrophobic void fill and stabilization foam specially formulated with a very slow cream-to-rise time to achieve under-slab insulation. Spread rates were anywhere between 5-8 feet from the point of injection.
Freezer Floor Under-Slab Insulation Video
Not only is the entire slab now better supported, but the slab is now also undersealed and insulated with an average of 1-3 inches of closed-cell foam. Full vapour barrier, and radon barrier achieved, no downtime, and no busting up good concrete.
A freezer is now in place over the slab which will help keep energy consumption costs down.
