Walk-in coolers or freezers are to be situated on top of this slab upon our completion of work to avoid a conventional means of insulating the floor that would be inconvenient and costly. This was due to the fact that the client wanted a fork-lift to be able to travel from within the coolers to the outside adjacent surfaces of the slab, without transitioning to a different level of elevation.
